Scale vs Measurements

I feel like I hit a plateau because the number on the scale has been standing still for a couple of months now and I don't eat over 1550 calories a day and I use the banking method. I have about 3kg left to go to reach my main goal. I haven't been eating perfectly on some days, but in the past I still lost weight even though I ate sugary treats on certain occasions.
This plateau definitely discourages me diet wise, even though I stay in my calories I don't feel like eating so many fruits and vegetables anymore, but instead I'm eating whatever I like within my calories at the moment. This is a new bad habit that I'll have to break eventually.
One positive thing happened this morning though, I decided to measure myself and I was happy to see that I've lost centimeters even though the number on the scale won't budge, so that gives me some hope.
I also think I should start doing something new, exercise wise, I've been doing the exact same thing since December 2012. I think I'll do some research on the internet and search for plateau breaking workouts, before I decide to do a healthy detox, maybe different exercise will do the trick first. If that doesn't work, I might do a healthy detox.
