Day #1 of Healthy Eating and Living!

Well here I am again! Back on the weight loss boat for good this time. I haven't been comfortable with how I've looked for years. A few years ago I lost 25lbs and felt pretty good, although I wasn't at my goal weight. Well I have been slowly packing on the pounds during PA school and it's depressing me. In fact, since Christmas I have GAINED 12 lbs! That is way too much for my 5'4" frame! I need to get this weight off because I am getting married in a year and want to feel my best on the most special day of my life. More importantly, I want to lose this weight for me, so I am feel confident and healthy. Today embarks on my commitment to healthy living. I am even planning to meet my fiance at the gym after work if I get out on time. I started my new (and last core) rotation in family medicine today. I am not sure my hours or how long the commute to and from NJ will take but I packed gym clothes so I'm all prepared. I'll be posting on my tumblr as much as I can to keep my motivated because my old food blog was essential to my weight loss in the past. Here goesssssssss :D
