Silly Shakes - Ya Just Gotta Love 'em!

When my grandkids were young I introduced them to Silly Shakes. We would get out the blender and they were encouraged to add ice and any combination of foods they wanted. The only rule was they had to drink whatever they concocted. They put in peanut butter, chocolate chips, yogurt, eggs (yes we washed them first), sprinkles and all sorts of other goodies. It was great fun and they learned that anything tastes good in a silly shake. Well the grandkids have pretty much grown up, but they still talk about the fun we had, and I still enjoy a good Silly Shake. In fact the one I made for lunch today was so healthy and tasty I just had to share it here.
Chocolate Strawberry Silly Shake
Yield: 2 - 8oz shakes, 100 cal each)
1/2 of an 8oz bottle of Boost Calorie Smart Chocolate Drink. (or substitute your favorite flavor) Boost gives you all kinds of good vitamins
4-5 fresh strawberries
1/4 C fat free cottage cheese (this makes the shake thick and adds protein)
1/2 C fresh spinach (trust me, you won't even taste it)
Lots of Ice
Blend and enjoy!
