Discouragement to Encouragement

I was very tired today and a little down and just couldn't focus on my goals. I didn't get up early this morning to exercise. I have to get up half hour earlier now because the new kids come at 7:15. I used to exercise until 7:30 now I need to be done & showered before 7:00.
I was up on the scale this morning and I let it discourage me all day. I almost didn't go to my training session tonight partly because of the snowy weather. But I knew I needed to.
Stu (my trainer) is so encouraging. I told him about the tendonitis. He said look on the positive side - it is very treatable and doesn't need surgery.
The first thing we did tonight was some stretches for the calf and achilles. He also gave me some good tips on how to treat it. He suggested alterating days of cardio - going easy one day and a little harder the next.
He will be on vacation the next two weeks. When I meet with him next, he will do another fat analysis, weigh-in and look at my food sheet. This will give me a good incentive to stay on track.
