Starting Again Again

So here I am trying again to focus on weight loss. I always start out determined and then life gets in the way and I lose my focus and return to bad habits.

My diet is healthy--vegan, low fat, no sugar, gluten free, whole grain. Lots of veggies and fruit. It all comes down to portion control and emotional/bored eating, which I cannot seem to get under control. Because of my age and past weight (I used to weigh 275 and at one point lost 150 pounds), I gain weight extremely easily, so it doesn't take much to gain a little. I'm not only not losing weight or even maintaining; if I am not SUPER diligent, I gain weight a little at a time. This coupled with my struggle with food addiction makes weight loss difficult.

I guess it all comes down to calories in calories out at this point, and being able to stay diligent with that. Portion control, calorie counting, staying on track even when life get hectic (this is the hardest for me), and being more active/exercising. This battle takes place in my mind! I have done it before, so I know can do it again if I can just stay on track!
