Changes Made Are Making An Improvement

March 31 st is when I said to myself "Linda you need ot make some changes if you really want ot win this battle you have gotten a little to comfortable and stuck inside the same ole box to long"
I was eating the same lunch foods daily high sodium lunch meats snacking to much on donut Fridays at work etc was lazy about my strength training Well in all honesty I thought if i just concentrated on my cardio weight would come off that did NOT happen.
So March 31st was my day to get back on track it was a sunday good time to start a fresh. I found a beginner runner strength training routine here at SP I am using that twice a week cardio 3 to 4 times a week. Eating high protein lower sodium (no matter what I do there are days I'm high) High fiber foods first week of doing so I dropped 4.5 pounds 2 week I dropped 6/10 of a pound Knew I wouldn't see that high number on the 2nd week 3rd week well good ole TOM came for a visit but glad he's early as I was really due on Saturday which is my first 5K. So as of today I am up 1.5 pounds
. Drinking more water and flavored water.
I was really hoping ot make my 5% challenge goal weight I was only 1.9 pounds away either way I'm happy with my progress. Last weigh in is Saturday
I still have BLC team Amethyst which goes to the end of May . I will be returning ot 5% Challenge with team Casual Travelers then I am hoping for a spot on BLC22 I'm ready to get back into the race.
