#10 Rainy days and Mondays....

Wow, double digit bloging, that's a first. Know what? I think it is helping! Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I know once I actually start seeing some results it will help with the motivation - but right now, at times it is sheer willpower and encouragement that keeps me going on this path.
Today had intentions of getting up early and on the treadmill, but it was a gloomy, rainy, gray Monday morning and I chose to stay in bed and hit the snooze! No walk at noon, still raining out there. Don't want to get soaked on my lunch hour! I know, good intentions get me no where - its action that counts. My plan is to walk after dinner. No excuses.
Took my shower, hopped on the scale and it finally moved to a bit better of a number than it has been showing me. I hate that it moves so slowly!
Well, it feels good to have made it through a couple rough spots. I did have a couple bad food choices, but overall my calorie intake is much better than it was before I started and I am making progress - even if it is a bit of a turtle's pace.
Since it is crappy weather right now, I am taking up knitting again. Decided if I was going to sit around, I might as well be doing something positive. Going to make scarves to donate next winter. Not to mention, if my hands are busy, they won't be mindlessly putting food into my mouth! So two good things will come of it!
