Easter Confessions

Easter weekend was wonderful. Saturday we rode our bikes for 31 miles. Then dyed eggs with my friend and her son.
It was a bit disappointing without my parents here (they usually are), but hubby and I had a quiet Easter day and dinner just for us. I did get to try lamb chops for dinner (dinner was yummy).
Treat wise, I couldn't resist just a little bit of Easter goodies. There was a beautiful dark chocolate peanut butter egg made by the local chocolatier at the store. I got just that one egg, in the small size. We nibbled on it all day, and it is gone. That was the only candy I bought.
Oh, I also made a very rich Easter braid bread, that had a lot of eggs and butter in it (like Challah). it was pretty and a nice treat, but probably a bit on the heavy side of the scale.
Now the candy is gone. There are hard-boiled eggs left, but I consider those to actually be healthy.
