Shred Diet: Just ended 4th week

Wednesday, March 27, 2013

I have had a few things going on, but am down 2.6 pounds this week. Week 3 found me ill (cough), so while I easily ate the soups, etc., I didn't follow the diet faithfully and stayed flat for two weeks and just tried to maintain for that time. I then started the 4th week finishing a round of antibiotics. I am now better and did follow the 4th week faithfully. The only things that I am doing differently is about fat. I am eating whole eggs, not just whites. I am also doing my own exercise plan (having exercised for years). I am doing a plan alternating steady state cardio, weight work and intervals. The combination of diet and exercise is proving successful. The fifth week is the "cleanse" week. I now need to go shopping for hibiscus tea. I will blog again about my progress.

I am finally home after being away all winter. I started a cleanse diet yesterday for 2 days, to get rid of all the crap and sodium, from eating out on the way home, and will start day 1, week 1, tomorrow and back to the gym on Monday. I did lose this winter while away. Any pointers?

Tomorrow is Day 5 of Week 4 for me. I hope I do as well as you. I have been looking for hibiscus tea, and no luck locally yet. Also have you found cranberries and flaxseed oil for week 5?

I am on day number two , any advice for me ? I cant believe the shear volume of food you get to eat on this diet , but it does make you pay attention to what you are shoving in your mouth . Great job !!!
