Week 3!

Apparently Mother Nature has it in for me on Mondays. But I'll not be deterred. Today we had lots of snow. I really considered running outside, but with the sidewalks covered by about 2 inches, and the sides of the road full of slush, I decided that it would not be smart or safe.

So off to the rec center again to run on the indoor track.

I was a little worried about the 3 minute segments this week. But really they were OK. They felt longer, but I could do them. I also forgot my inhaler today, and luckily I didn't need it (that is also a yay). With just 4 little running segments, it really didn't seem too bad.

Fitbit said it was 4215 steps. The podcast was 29:29 long. (They added extra walking at the end, which is fine).

Week 3 is complete! I am looking forward to week 4 and the 5 minute run next time.

Today we had an early release from work due to Easter weekend, so I ran in my home neighborhood this afternoon. Had a nice run, it was quite sunny out. I didn't even wear my warm up hoodie today.

Well, the snow has melted off the sidewalks, so I was able to run outside today. Did fine, didn't find it to be harder or easier than Monday, which is good. The snowy landscape with the sunshine was pretty and bright.

Funny, I was running on the sidewalk on one side of the street. On the other side of the street was an older gentleman who was walking on that sidewalk. As we approached, we gave each other a little wave hello. Then he gave me a thumbs up and a clap emoticon This really made me smile emoticon , I gave back a muscle pose emoticon and continued on my way.

It's great that you got your walk in despite the weather.
