Happy 1st Day of Spring

Wednesday, March 20, 2013

As we enter another season my time on Spark People has come a full circle. I joined spark people on 3/20/2012. i feel so much better today then where i was a year ago. I have lost 15 lbs, i exercise 6 days a week and have dropped a pant size. i can actually see muscles in my legs and a teeny bit in my arms. Still have a few layers to loose in the abdomen before i can see those muscles! i have remained smoke free for 13 months now. My cravings still come but they are much easier to deal with. I wonder what next spring will be like? i want to loose another 10-15 lbs and keep up my exercise schedule. Finding Spark people has definitely contributed to my success. I love to watch the number of calories i need to burn for the week shrink. Happy Spring and looking forward to another healthy year.

Good morning, DEB on this beautiful cool fall morning at least in our area it is. Have you been able to continue with the smoke free situation? If so it would now be over 20 months for you. If so congratulations to you and no matter what you are doing good. Keep up the good work.

Congratulations, Deb, on your weight loss, your commitment to your goals and for your decision not to smoke. Fortunately, I never did take up smoking cigarettes I do like food and this is still somewhat difficult to restrain myself. This is not easy is it. You are doing so well. Keep on doing it too.
