I can't believe its been 3 years since my last blog entry. The time has gone by so fast. A brief 'catch up' if you're willing... lol

I found a walking buddy through my local team-Southern MD. At first, it was great! We were getting better, faster, stronger...oops-not the bionic woman for sure! We couldn't walk every weekend, sometimes one of us would have a commitment or be out of town, or sick. (usually me). But last summer was awful! I couldn't walk because of the heat/humidity. I have asthma and those two conditions are unbearable! So I know I wasn't able to walk a whole lot. Even into the fall-I just couldn't do it. And I hated, just hated saying I couldn't. We had great walking places. A couple school tracks and a couple walking trails. So that wasn't it. Anyway, I just lost my motivation to walk. It was really difficult telling my walking buddy that I didn't feel like walking and I would let her know when. Recently, I started working out again. Again! How many times does that make it now? Doesn't matter. I joined the January Jump Start team a few weeks ago. One day in the first week, I couldn't complete the day's workout/goal and didn't see how I'd be able to catch up before week 2. So I just started the week over. Now, I'm in week 2. I really had to push myself through the 1st week. But I feel better! I'm making better food choices. I don't know if I'll be walking again outside, but only time will tell. I think I had a point to this story, but I may have gotten off track! lol. Have a great day everyone!

I can't exercise....it is tough but not deadly. (COPD) Anything brings on coughing spasms....even fast walking...it stinks BUT.....

So, that's why. Losing our MoJo happens to all of us. Good for you for joining the Jump Start. Hopefully it will help get back any stamina you lost. I wish you luck.
