Eat Better - Feel Fitter Challenge - Day 1

I'm back with SparkPeople after a 6 month or so hiatus. I felt that I needed a break from the structure and from all the challenges. But now I'm back and ready to go!

Today was my first day of the EBFF Challenge. I managed to get in 5 servings of vegetables and my two pre-planned snacks. I wasn't really all that hungry for the snacks but ate them anyhow. I did track all my food and water. I managed to come in under my calorie range, but went way over on the sodium. I need to see where that came from.

I had planned to go to the gym, but ended up not doing it. While doing the dishes, a glass broke, and I cut my hand pretty badly. It'll be fine, but I didn't feel like going to exercise after that. A special thanks to my husband for bandaging me up!

Tomorrow I'm off to the store to see what kinds of veggies I can get to help this challenge. I feel like I'm off to a good start!
