Slow and steady.

Yesterday I went for a 30-minute walk around the track at the Y. It was a slow pace since it's been a while since I've exercised on a daily basis. My joints are pretty inflamed today and I'll probably have to rest on the couch today. Maybe this evening I'll start doing some yoga again.

My eating is so-so. I'll eat something that I shouldn't or I'll eat a larger portion than I should, but I'm mindful of it and I get right back on track.

This morning I'll have a protein shake blended with a frozen banana. Lunch probably soup and a sandwich. Hubby bought me a new bread maker. My old one had buttons that got stuck and I could only use certain settings. emoticon Today I look forward to learning how to use it and making a loaf of honey whole-wheat bread. YUM!

    As counter-intuitive as it seems, exercise has really helped me to manage my joint pain. Well, that and my BFF Aleve.


    Keep moving and see if that doesn't help... or at least contribute to a sense of an active day.!
