I think my poor body is like "what the???" One minute I'm cramming fast food down my throat for months. My kitchen remodel gave me the perfect excuse to eat out. But now that it is completed, I promised my family I would cook healthy meals. And I actually enjoy cooking (somewhat). I'm not exactly jumping up and down when I have to cook dinner, but I do feel a sense of pride when my family can't wait to sit at the table in the evenings.

So either my body is confused or I'm coming down with something. I have some digestive issues going on. I know...TMI.

This morning I had a banana protein shake and for lunch I'm warming up leftover spaghetti. It's so much better the next day. Last night I didn't have any. I just had a homemade roll and some tea.

Tonight is date night. Dinner is soup and salad at TGIF and a movie. I'm going to try and skip the emoticon tonight and pack some almonds in my purse instead.

Have a great weekend.

How was the movie? We are going to see "Zero Dark Thirty" tomorrow evening, after all the football games are over. The popcorn is not my weakness, candy is - Raisinetttes, to be specific. I hope your belly feels better, Hattie. My stomach has been upset all week - it is not fun.

OMG that is my total weakness. I LOVE that movie popcorn. And I know it has a xillon calories in it but I eat it anyway, when I go to the theater because all it is, is popcorn and coconut oil and I just don't mind eating that. Even if its too many calories. But I don't go often anymore, since I am on a budget now.

Sounds fantastic - a date night! Well, you pack those almonds and get all 'nutty' tonight (sorry) emoticon .
LOL, yeah, it does take the body a little while to get over the confusion of being fed junk to being fed a bit of nutrition, but hang in there ....it will adjust to the new lifestyle. emoticon
