Feeling Blah...

Thursday, January 10, 2013

I'm feeling kind of drained this morning. By this time of morning, I'm showered, dressed, laundry is started, etc. This morning, I'm sitting here sparking (tee hee) in my bathrobe. emoticon My butt is dragging behind me.

Today I'm going to start tracking my food again. This morning will be a bowl of oatmeal or grits. Not sure yet. Dinner will be whole wheat pasta, lean ground beef and homemade tomato sauce (if I feel up to it) and I made some homemade wheat rolls that I'll toast with garlic and add a side salad. Mmmm...can't wait for dinner. emoticon

I still haven't made time for a walk yet but I had a dream that I was jogging around the track. Hmmm...

Have a great day.

Me too!!! I just woke up blah and not "right". But then I took my own advice, and did my walk, so that I could complain about how I didn't feel like doing it from the position of having already done it. I'm glad I did. I feel a little better, but not a lot better. But I'm glad I took my walk.

Tell you what, I took care of a number of 10-minute tasks today and it feels AMAZING! Don't worry about tackling the big stuff today. Just keep busy with little naggy things and see how the progress adds up!

Your body is probably doing just what it needed to do this morning. It's taking a break. Sometimes after the holidays are all over with and the life has returned to normal, our bodies and minds simply need a day to crash. I bet by this evening, after that lovely dinner, you will be feeling a lot more energized. In the meantime, don't fight it --- just go with the flow. Tomorrow when you're running full steam again, I bet you'll be glad that you got a little break in today. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Everyone needs a lift-me-up every now and then. I myself find that my mood gets better when I listen to my favorite songs, reading a book, cooking, working out or even just talking to my friends.
Look for ways to lift up your mood that works for you and write it down.
    Have a great day!!!!
Wishing you blue skies and nice things. emoticon
