So, the ankle pain returned while on the treadmill. I finished the 30 minutes, but was still at a pace of just under 16 min/mi. I'm laying off the running for a couple of days, but I'm going to try the elliptical (I can not express how much I hate recumbent bikes) to keep the burn while trying to let my ankle heal.
I showed Dylan a couple of strength moves and had him try out a set of each. We did Shoulder Press, Chest Press, Flys, and Stability ball pushups (I demo'ed but he was too chicken to try). It's kind of funny how uncomfortable he is on the weight machines. I took Weight Training in high school for 3 years, so the forms come pretty natural for me, now. Thought I was doing him a favor by starting him on machines where your form is pretty much forced.
Oh well, bed time.
