My husband showed me this article. It is very interesting.

It basically compared 14 diets and showed how similar they are. It gives a list of the "good" things to eat and the things to avoid. It basically boils down to being sensible and chosing lean protein, fruits and vegetables and whole grains and to stay away from sugar and processed foods.

I had a great day. Sparked this morning, then took a nap. In the afternoon went shopping with my husband and had a nice lunch at Panera. When we got home, I sewed up an apron for my DIL.

Daily Goals:
1) Blog -- emoticon
2) Exercise at least 10 minutes. emoticon 20 min (treadmill)
3) Eat at least 3 freggies a day.. emoticon 8 servings

    Yep, losing weight is simple ... Eat Less, Move More ... And getting healthy "basically boils down to being sensible and chosing lean protein, fruits and vegetables and whole grains and to stay away from sugar and processed foods." The key is getting our mind and emotions set, and then Making the Healthy Choices consistently. Live the Life ... Walk the Walk ... It's too easy to just talk the talk. Even 4 years into this, reaching goal & staying there, it is a day by day challenge to Choose Well. Let's Do It!

    It's true we all know what to and what NOT to eat. Yet I have a SP friend who's starting on a new diet. Silly or smart? I think maybe the need to change helps spur us on in our journey. This is something January 1 is really good for. We've had a month of fun and hard work, and it's time to re-group.
