Holiday Blues, Bad news, and exercise boos!

Holiday blues, bad news and exercise boos all have me in the mood to not want to move but this is what I am trying to do to stay on track!
Don't give up, Don't give in!!! remind yourself nothing will keep you from making next year a better year before it gets here.
Remember that breaking bad habits takes 60 days!! ( not 21) start small, take baby steps and change each bad habit one by one, until you reach each goal and you are able to stick to it.
Remind yourself to take small steps, and every move forward will never turn you backwards! Feel like skipping out on exercise? remember to remind yourself about your habits that you want to change and stick to your routine! If you find yourself reaching for soda instead of your water, Remind yourself about how important this goal is for you to reach, and take the water...I can go on and on about how hard it is to change bad habits. I have found that changing just one bad habit every sixty days has lead me further then trying to change them all at once and keeping the bad habits from coming back is much easier.
Just one at a time, Keep yourself informed and motivated with Sparkpeople and take some time for you, the weight will come off slowly and you will be much happier!

Take it slow, take it easy, don't fall backwards!
