I was talking with a co-worker regarding the free Weight Watchers program offered through work. She liked it but found as she moved closer to her goal weight that it became to restrictive and she had even less points to work with. She said "Jamie, you already know how to do it so do it" and you know what she is so right.

When I lost the inital 25lbs which became 40lbs and 50lbs I was following a very basic diet that was high in fruits and veggies; I used a smaller plate and filled half of it with the afore mentioned items and meat and if I had hotdish I'd eat half of what I'm eating now with a small salad or plate of steamed veggies and I didn't add shredded cheese or extra sauses.

So my renewed self commitment is as followings:

Increase my freggies emoticon

Decrease my portion sizes emoticon

Decrease junk food consumption - we've had lots of taco salad/sloppy joes /processed foods

Focus on how I feel when and after I eat

Exercise which sometimes means taking it easy but do something every day

Keep up with my spark friend, co cappies, etc emoticon

Love the lady in the mirror because I've created her emoticon

I'm going to do this for our 6 week break and see where I am at the start of the next BLC. Hopefully I'll be down a few pounds and inches.
