How to Avoid Over Eating on Thanksgiving (or anytime)

Hi guys! This is just a quick post! Happy Thanksgiving! Now onto the reason you're probably here for.
Most of us do pig out during the holidays, so let me give you my number one trick to help you avoid pigging out too hard this season. This works great in just everyday sitiautions too, so feel free to try it then after the holidays die down.
First off, do not starve yourself all day waiting for dinner. Please remember to eat something. Usually I'll go with a bowl of cereal or some fruit. That way you aren't feeling hungry or anything later. That'll also help your body from going into starvation mode and turning every thing you eat later into straight fat!
Next, when you do eat your holiday meal, eat it on a small saucer plate. Just put a little of each item on your plate and eat. While it might look small, believe me it will go far. After you're done eating set a timer on your phone (we all have one I imagine) for 5 minutes. If you're hungry after 5 minutes still, go get more. I can guarentee that if you do this you won't get more than two or three at the most refills. This will help you cut down on those huge portions that everyone always eats, while still getting to eat what you want, just in smaller sizes.
