I had to wear a zip up sweater today, with a hood. Seems the storm came in earlier then they predicted. However, the wind didn't keep the dogs from playing. Plus the sun was out when we were there, so made it nice. Not to hot, not to cool.
My friend had some new buds opening up on her rose bushes. I love the look of rose buds. Not one is the same.
The breeze caught this bud, but it is still pretty.
We finished exercising the dogs, then left for a little store in town. DH went inside the store while I took photos of a Pigeon in a field next to the store. It had unusual coloring. I was being batted by the wind, but the poor Pigeon. He was walking around looking for seeds to nibble on, and all of the sudden he was moved a bit to the left or right. It was kind of funny to watch. It didn't stop the bird from its mission though.
We drove up a little hill and started to pass this house that had Cactus. It was pretty, so I hopped out of the car and took a couple of pics.
A Raven started flying circles over my head. The picture didn't turn out crystal clear, but he/she was fun to watch.
I got back into the car, looked up, and admired the clouds with the sun shinning through. So I took a picture out the back window. It was starting to mist at this point.
We were about half way home, and decided to drive down a dirt road. I'm glad we did. A Mockingbird flew over and landed on a fence. I had DH stop a ways back so I could get a picture or two.
Further down the road were the prettiest Mums. So yellow!
We came across some Ravens playing in the breeze. Then they landed in a field to the right of us, except this one. It landed on the fence.
We turned into our housing tract, and it started to rain. I took a couple of pictures through our windshield.
We had to go out again. As we turned left onto the main road, DH spotted a Rainbow.
One last pic of the day.
Have a good Friday!
