November Goals

Friday, November 02, 2012

I'm making goals for this month! For those that know me... you know I suck at reaching/keeping goals.. Not to despair Team A.. I do better when other people are involved.

Recently I've had excuses for everything... and lots of them - I started to write a blog about all of the excuses I've used lately... hmm... not sure it would be of any benefit for anyone reading...

Having a hard time sparking on my days off from work.. yes this implies that I only spark while at work..... **shhhhh

Biggest obstacle right now is - Fatigue and Foot/heel issues
Hopefully a renewed effort on a team challenge will bring some good my way....

November Goals: My "week" schedule will run Sun-Sat

Fitness - Begin some cardio - exerbike/dogplay-walk 3x/week
Stretching - 5x week/ 20 min minimum

Nutrition - Get in my Magnesium and Selenium requirements 5x/week
3 Freggies a day

Personal - When the Fitbit arrives - get it up and running and tagged to Spark
Start a sleep diary to examine sleep hours/issues

Good goals and honesty! I love my fitbit and after looking at my sleep patterns I can see why I'm so tired as some nights I have 13 or more interruptions. I don't know if that is from my sleep apnea or my pets wanting out or jumping on me.
I am not so good with goals either but I have been pretty darn good with my fitness minutes, I think mainly because I walk my dogs for a couple of miles five days a week. Maybe you should get a dog!
Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog.

Fitbit has a great sleep technology. You will be amazed at how many times you are awake during the night.
Good luck with your goals! emoticon emoticon

You can do it, hot stuff. You can. Sorry about the foot issues. Sometimes Epson salt works for me and it's cheap. Once I had plantars, and that was a whole different story.

Sparking at work? That seems just about right to me. What else am I supposed to do there?

Nice job on the planning - you can do it! Would love to hear feedback on the Fitbit once you've tried it out. Have been pondering getting one but wanted to hear more about what people thought first.

I am happy to see you making leaps and bounds with the planning. The fitbit will definitely keep you accountable. I can't spend any money now, but maybe one day.

Being on a team helps, but you also feel the pressure to get it all done. I can't commit to one just yet. I feel a mental month coming for me as my disability hearing is only a month and a week away and I am starting to feel the pressure of that, and it is making me ill. Nerves ruin my stomach and everything else - even grinding teeth, so I am striving to chill out. Man, it helps if I take my meds, but I forgot until just now. Well, at least it isn't 7pm like last night.

Okay - got to get this body up and moving today! It was great stopping by to check in on you!

Okay - so to keep you committed - I have a new fitbit too! See if we can connect as friends on the thing! Send me a private message on Spark and lets make it happen!

I'm not great on goals either or committing to any sort of long term plan so I decided to join a challenge for the month of November so maybe that will help
Good luck with yours for I do know positive plans and action=positive results!!!! emoticon
