Learn to Love Strength Training

Improve Your Health and Your Appearance

I am one of those people who hates strength training. I find excuses not to do it. Maybe the thought I can get rid of my batwings will entice me. I recently had a follow up dexa scan and was told to strength train to rebuild the bone I have lost so that is a good motivator too.

    emoticon Jean, I too have to work on this... bone strengthening. I had my very first bone density scan this year. The doctor put me on Atelvia and Caltrate immediately. She told me that my hip bones are way to thin.

    At least something on me is thin. May not be my hips, but my hip bones are. emoticon

    me too! the only strength training I like is the zumba ST class and now I can't go during the day. Err! We'll figure it out! emoticon emoticon

    Once you start to see the results of doing strength training you'll likely become more motivated to do it. I can say my work over the past year strengthening my legs has provided added muscle to support my knee and almost 7 months out from my last cortisone shot. I am hear cheering for you.
