Update on Angel and the Pumpkin Festival

This was taken on a walk today, not FROM the Pumpkin Festival.. Updating you on me so you know I'm alive and all..

Discussing some of my food splurges..turnovers, cotton candy (a few bites), and Krispy Kreme donuts.. But it's not awful.. it's my life. One donut, not six. It's OK.

Right now I'm eating a turkey sandwich on wheat flat bread with cheese and Romaine, lots of baby carrots with hummus, peas, and a tiny bit of the buttercup squash (1/4 cup).

    I had to quit watching this vlog. All the discussion of the foods was not good for me. I have been diverging some with the stress of the Teaching License Test that I took today. I have been studying hard. So anyway, I will watch the next vlog.

    I would have loved to see the pumpkins. I went on a pumpkin walk this week to take pictures in the neighborhood but I guess I was a bit early because I only found about 4.

    I love what you said about this is our lifestyle and not a sprint! Yes!! We're not going to perfect every day. That's not logical! And wow, you're doing really pretty good in spite of all the goodies. Like I said in my one blog about this being the "comfort food" time of year. From now until Spring?! But the thing about this year more than other years before SP. is that I'm so much more aware of my simple carb eating and how you just can't stop at one serving! I think some of it too is that our tummies are getting smaller so we don't require as much, along with eating the complex carbs more. A little transformation at a time. Like my husband reminds me that I didn't gain it all overnight! Ya! We'll just keep trying with all our might! I'm glad you're feeling some better! Get a good rest tonight! emoticon emoticon emoticon
