First Week! WooHoo!

Well, I made it through the first week! And I pretty happy!
My motivation level is very high. I do struggle every night with the "evil munchies"
But I know I will beat them!
I did really well with the exercising the first couple of days, but then it started hurting my old ankle injury, all the resulting tendonitis, and the tumor I have in my calf (same leg), sooo I had to take it easy for a couple of days.
Today my leg was feeling better so I went for another walk. It hurt, but not terrible because I went slower than last time. Even though it's slow exercise, it is something.
Sooo, this first week I managed to loose 7 pounds! I am sooooo happy with that!
I tend to get impatient with slow weight loss, but I didn't get to this weight in one day and I'm darn sure not gonna get this weight off in one day.
I know I wont always be able to get the exercise in that I want to, but I just have to not beat myself up for it. I have to come to terms with the fact that I have a bad leg, and the other one isn't 100% either. So as much as I love going for walks and getting excercise, I am promising myself not to get discouraged. I plan on trying to get some upper body aerobic and strength excercises in. Hopefully, as the weight comes off it will get a little easier to go for walks, but even if it doesn't, I will stay positive.
Anyway, I really hope to keep up the weight loss for this coming week!
