So, ya it's been a while

Apparently, it has been over a year since I have been on here, pretty wild.
So I have had a pretty ridiculous year. Don't feel like going into too much detail but I completed my first half-ironman Triathlon in Mont Tremblant, Quebec in June of 2012 in 5:47 and it was an amazing experience.
I then followed that with a 2:26 Olympic Distance race in Toronto in July and had a personal best at that distance by almost 20 minutes.
My summer came to a bit of a crashing halt, I was hit by a car while riding my bike on August 30th, 10 days before my second half ironman in Muskoka. Unfortunately due to an injury to my shoulder, I was unable to compete in the race. All things considered that it was bike vs. car I am very lucky with my only injuries being a strained neck and potentially torn rotator cuff in my left shoulder.
Well, this is the reason that I am back, in an instant, I had to cut from eating about 4,000 calories per day to fuel training to what a normal person eats and it has been quite hard and before it got out of control, I figured I need to start being accountable to myself and to all of you again. I don't use the scale anymore because I am happy with where I am, but that being said, I feel sluggish.
Not being able to exercise has been very difficult for me and I am just now getting back into some cycling on my bike trainer in the basement. Back to track my nutrition and will be checking my page once in a while.
