Feeling full, but not with food!

I had a tough couple of days with no energy to spare so I decided to ignore NIKE and "Just not do it". I ate a little off plan, some pretzels and chocolate wafers Friday. I didn't exercise Saturday. After 6 weeks of pretty steady planning and weight loss my body was telling me to chill.

Here's the thing...

I didn't eat the whole big bag of pretzels and chocolate wafers. I didn't feel like it. So instead of forcing myself to eat it all like I would have before when a binge was upon me, I listened to my body. And, I still was on my feet for 7 hours working on Saturday, which 6 weeks ago would have killed my feet and to some extent my knees. I didn't have to sit down once! And, yesterday I walked for 45 minutes.


I am changing. Day by day, listening to my body more and more. This, I believe is the single most important reason that I am going to succeed this time. I'm allowing myself to make mistakes and then brush them off. I'm human. Born to make mistakes but born to thrive too.

WOW, I feel strong today. I'm not sure what my weight is right now but I feel great! I have 100 more lbs to lose and I'll get there. It really is day by day. The ole' cliche - progress not perfection. I GET it!!
