14 mile run

It was a chilly start this morning. It took about 2 miles to get my fingers warmed up. About mile 4, I mentally struggled for some reason. Not sure what that was all about. The route I run is hilly through the whole thing, so it wasn't just a hard section. Mile 6 1/2, body was feeling better and so was the mind!! LOL I hit Lee's Summit Rd and I felt like I could just kick it....and I did! 10 minute miles on a very hilly route! Very pleased with that!!

Next week, I run with Dr. Nelson the race route, which has a couple big hills, but nothing like I run now. This will not be for time, but just for muscle memory. Feeling very positive about this race...just waiting on time!

1. Enjoyed my run
2. Good time with clients
3. Excellent time with Marta and Dave running rounds!
