Day 60 Logging in Spark Streak

I have been very inspired by a lot of blogs lately, but the one that has me coming back everyday is www.sparkpeople.com/mypa
Pixie is now on day 200 of staying on track with eating and exercising. She has this incredible drive and energy that is contagious. So I decided that I want to get in on the Spark Streak action. Today is Day 60 of my continuous healthy eating and exercising streak. My goal is to lose one pound per week until the end of the year. Right now I am ahead having lost 15 pounds in less than 7 weeks, however I know that the closer I get to my goal weight, the less I will lose.
My main motivation for keeping my streak alive is that this is the energy that drives me when times get tough. Through the birthday parties, the dinners out at restaurants, the holidays, social situations, I want to have in the back of my mind that I want to keep my streak alive. Since this is a total lifestyle change that I want to maintain for the rest of my life, it really doesn't matter to me how fast I lose the weight. I am more interested in staying consistant and keeping up my momentum of moderate exercise and healthy eating patterns.
