Water vs Pepsi

Friday, September 14, 2012

So my big addiction is pepsi.. I know if I stop drinking it and drink only water, it will help immensely. My problem is , like I've mentioned, I'm totally addicted to it. Like a druggie with cocaine or such, my pepsi is my drug. I so need to get off that addiction!

I also need to get up and out of chair more and exercise! I fear doing anything "heavy" at first, I don't want to give myself a heart attack right out of the shoot. I need to work my way up, and get my bad knee stronger as well. It doesn't help that I broke my foot years ago and it has really never healed all that great.

I have to do this for myself, for my kids and for my guy that I want to be around for. All of them. I love them all very much and want to be healthier!!

I dont know if it will help but theres some exercise vids on the site that you can do from sitting on your chair. I find them to be really good. Ive told myself to do 10 mins every day for now, if I do more all is good. (small steps and all that) Take a look. You will get there xx

Almost 3 months since I stopped drinking everything carbonated. Hardest thing I have EVER done and it takes major willpower to stay off it. My other half says things like ' oh one glass wont hurt' but for me, one would lead to another and so on. My advice is to cut back SLOWLY, and expect mood swings, I think what helped me is I started to make my own ice tea or even hot tea to keep the caffeine from hitting empty.

    You've got this!

emoticon it's hard but can be done in slow steps. I had to give up coke. I went to sprite zero, then to water. I carry those flavor packets with me even to restaurants. emoticon you can do it. Make the water bottle your new best buddy. good luck!!! Judy

I too have a Pepsi addiction. I had stopped for almost 1 year, which helped in my weight loss. I'm not a coffee drinker, so being in the office early and in meetings, I need something that flavored water won't give. I wish you luck!
