Staying on track

It's been a year since my last blog, and I've gained 50 pounds since. It's a hard thing to admit and an even more difficult thing to fix. But if I can do even 60% of the chart, I'm passing, and that's something to acknowledge and commend.

    I believe that you have the strength and courage to lose the 50 pounds that you gained over the past year, because you want to. Thats the whole issue with most of us. If we do not want to we won't, but if we acknowledge our weaknesses and we make a conscious choice to not make the same mistakes again, well that is half the battle right there.

    I too have gained back some of my weight -- and I've been here the whole time so what's my excuse? I think your plan is good - do your best each day, knowing that your best on Monday might be different than your best on Thursday emoticon

    Ginger I am glad that you are with the Tangerines for the Fall Challenge . . . those 50 lbs will be a thing of the past now that you are back on track. Let me know if there is anything you need . . . like a friend to chat with or vent to . . . .I keep my computer on most of the time and check it probably too often. emoticon

    So glad to be on the Tangerine Team with you!!! unfortunately it seems like the weight comes back on easier than it goes off! I have heard of people who have had gastic bypass surgery that still had problems with regaining weight and sometimes significant weight. Be glad it is only 50lbs and start to do what you did last time to lose the weight. And congratulations of becoming a leader!!!! Woot!! Woot!! emoticon

    Just last week I was wondering what happened to you!! I'm glad to see you back here. Don't feel alone, I've managed to gain back 110pound!!!! Yikes! So, I've been really struggling to get a grip and get back on track. Especially with my health issues of this year.
    However, I'm sure that we can both achieve our goals. Wishing you the very best in following your plan. May you even pass your own expectations!
