September goals

My third anniversary as a Spark member is in september... as I am not doing what I originally came here for - lose weight - maybe it is time to let go off this intense spark life... not very likely, it is not spark people that are preventing me from reaching my goals, it is me...

My goals for september are:
1. To live "lean" that is plan, act, reflect every day - proactive(plan): evening - do the list of preferred actions and behaviour for the next day, active(act): execute the list, reactive (reflect): analyze and learn how to handle the things I did not achieve...

2. Plan and prepare my food at least one day ahead. This is very hard for me nowadays, I donĀ“t know why but maybe I can learn from the "lean" system...

3. At least 10 minutes of hooping every day-

4. At least 30 minutes walk/bike tours with doggy every day - will get me and the dog exercised and will give me the best conscience...

5. Organize my work better = plan at least one day ahead.

6. Write articles asap after doing the interviews/research - that means in 95 % to do it within 24 hours...

7. Commit to the BLC20 challenges and do them to the best of my ability.

8. ST at the gym at least two times a week, ideal is three.

9. spend 30 minutes a day cleaning my house.

10. End every day being grateful for all the opportunitys it gave me.

Ten goals ar maybe too ambitious but I want to add one all the same - the fun factor...

11: Do a fun/creative thing every day and journali it...

I have constructed a very visual board at the door of my cupboard (that was the fun/creative yesterday and is to be continued today as it is not finished) and I look forward to all the learning opportunities I have by failing with these goals.. emoticon

    Great blog MP - I haven't actually heard of LEAN (will google it) but love the principles as you set them out and try some constructive goals for myself. Good planning - movement everyday and cleaning my house regularly would make so much difference to my life. Love the idea of doing something creative everyday too - DEFINITELY need to timetable some of that in.

    Ceil! What fantastic goals you have set. I set mine for the rest of the year but I am thinking I might do just September instead. HMMM

    Like your idea of Lean! Not sure how to sue it for me but going to consider it!

    YOU CAN SUCCEED THIS YEAR! I am 1 pound over what I have as my starting weight for the year when I rest my goal. Let's make this work and be under our current weight by 2013! I know you can make this happen!!

    These are well rounded goals with success in mind. I love the visual board. Hope you find some new incentive and excitement.
    Health and happiness will be the reward. Be sure to give yourself fun rewards, as well.

    cleaning house will be one of them and 30 min/day seems reasonable instead of half a day doing it all, and # 11 is a given.

    An interesting list, pretty well balanced....

    Might be best to take on one or two new goals a day for a while....

    It looks like a great list! Let us know how you are doing with it...
    I recently also planned my day from the time I get up until the time I (am supposed to!) go to bed. If you do that also you may get an idea of how much time each of the goals will take you per day.

    The rhing is that 2-11 will be on 1 list... I am blessed with optimism and playfulness, this is a very fun project to me!

    I agree with you about the 'maybe too ambitious' - that's quite a list you've come up with, tho I so totally agree with how useful they are! Now, if you don't mind a suggestion, what if #11 is the one you TOTALLY commit to, and of the others, aim for any 9 out of the 10 on a given day?
