Had a nice walk today...as usual...I like that...as usual! My daily walk, after a little over a week of keeping to my daily walk streak, is becoming a habit...and expected. Yay! Today, one of my co-workers asked me how far I usually walked at lunch. I told her usually a mile or so. I love that her eyes widened and she seemed impressed. I'm no slouch walker...I get my walk on!
I shared the diet soda cake/cupcakes idea with a co-worker today, too. She thought that was really neat. She had previously shared with me a recipe for diet coke chicken. It's super easy and delicious. I'll have to get the specifics and share it next time...although it's probably here on Spark already. Gotta love the Spark Recipes. There was also a Food magazine in the break room today when I had lunch. There was a neat recipe in there for a strawberry dessert...but no nutrition...what? What good is that? I need to get the recipe and enter it in Spark and see how it pans out.
Today, I joined the 10-minute Exercise challenge team. It occurs to me that the 10-minute idea would help me with SO many things...since starting any activity is the biggest hurdle. And that's what that 10-minute scenario gets you to overcome. Hmmm...so much good advice! I'll take it!
