I also want to say thank you to all of you! Thanks for the prayers. Thanks for the goodies. Thanks for the messages and notes of concern and the get wells!! I appreciate each and every one of you.
Why didn't I show my weight on the scale like others do? Well for one, I don't like feet. I don't want to video tape mine. No, I wasn't trying to say that I don't like my feet, I don't like any feet! lol Feet freak me out I guess. You will just have to take my word on my weight. lol
So...what are you going to do today? Will you go the extra mile? Oh quit thinking about it and get up and do it!!!
I'm so happy you are in the Jeans.... Woohoo... Girl, I've been preaching about getting rid of those fat clothes for a while too, and I've been getting mines out and doing the line up on the new slim me. I'm so thankful, grateful....and blessed to have you as a team cheer leaders. We are not going to call it a "diet" anymore. It's a lifestyle change, it's a new life... A new-ness with life, that's what I call it. My new-ness and my freestyle of eating. Keep on pushing love. You are freaking great. Okay... I'm in love with this girl... Keep on pushing... 2647 days ago
Glad you posted. Fly lady can definitely help you get organized and clean. Give yourself credit for anything you do accomplish in a day. Some times with depression and anxiety it is hard enough just to get through the day. My therapist told me that when you are having a really bad day just cleaning off one dresser counts!
I found out that one of the things that adds to my depression and anxiety is my house totally being out of control. On days that I have disarray in my home, I am much worse than in days where my house is at least picked up! It took me several years to be able to control my home, and sometimes it gets ahead of me now, but making small changes over time made for a big difference. 2648 days ago
Yes! You fit into the jeans! I expect to see your happy dance every time you fit into the next pair of jeans! I try not to focus on the scale. I really do see this as a lifestyle change, too. When I use the word diet, it means what I eat, not some torturous form of deprivation. Nutrition and exercise I can tackle, it's the emotional baggage that's intractable. I just keep saying to myself: "take another small step, now take another."
Your video blogging!!!! Your sparking others, and I love the painted nails!!
Congrats on the jeans! a fellow Sparker said looking at the scale for a weigh in reminded her of how you'd look and react to an unexploded bomb! Lol I share that feeling!! I suppose the jeans was a very similar feeling but you did it!!!
SUSAN! Congrats on the jeans. You look great in them. I just went back to see when I picked my pants and it was on July 20. I gave myself two months to get back into them. So that is Sept 20 the day after I projected Wonderland. I'm so glad because I tried on my pants and can see little difference. They are still tight. I did find some clothes I can now wear in the boxes under my bed. Love the raspberry nails. I think people who moan about how long this is taking are losing sight of the fact this is not a diet. You quit dieting when the weight is lost. But if you quit, you'll end up right back where you started or higher. Been there, done that. Thanks for stressing the lifestyle change vs. diet difference. We need to hear it constantly. Love ya, Mom (Can't wait until the 1st.) Are you staying with me on 31st? 2648 days ago
I just updated my status to say I was on Cloud 9 because I lost three more pounds and fit into jeans two sizes smaller...Whoo Hoo! Then I watch your video blog and you fit into smaller jeans too! You sure do "motivate and spark" me! I'll be getting rid of some clothes here soon, because you sure are right about not keeping them around. Have a great week. 2649 days ago
YOU GO, GIRL! LOVE the happy dance! Keep going! (Gee, can you add that into your fitness tracker? (o:)
I just did a closet clean out, myself. It's such great feeling! I did keep some things, but got rid of 8 bags to the Salvation Army! Only problem now is I'm heading back to school in a week and I have nothing to wear! (But I'll take this problem ANY day! I just said to my husband, this is a GOOD problem to have!)
Lifestyle change - I'm glad you included "stay positive" in your description. To me, this journey is 90% mental - and that positivity is what keeps us moving forward!
So true about getting rid of those "big" clothes. The thrift stores have become my new favorite places. Not only do I take my "big" clothes there, but I buy my next pair of "get into jeans" there when I take stuff in.
Keep up the great work!!! You'll be in the 200s in no time 2649 days ago

Also got one to tight that i put on to see how close i am to wearing it! Got a special one that fits but not loose but will be one day that i wear when i am going to be around alot of food or eat out ! These outfits keep me on track. most of the time! 2649 days ago
I am absolutely AMAZED at your progress, them jeans look great, and your overall attiude toward your lifestyle change. You are leading by example, and sparking along the way. You won't even know a handful of the dozens you spark by your honesty here on SparkPeople. But you do change people's lives' even with a couple of words.
You need to be that Spark for your Sister but she has to be willing to let it ignite inside her. It might take months or years before she get's it so be patient, and keep on doing what you're doing because it's working.
I also have sleep apnea and have been on CPAP and Oxygen at night for 7 years. They say I will be off the machine by the time I hit my goal of 195 lb. Doesn't seem so far off considering I started May 30th when I had my Gastric Sleeve WLS. I almost stroked out because of high blood pressure at 277/177 but since surgery my bp has been normal and getting even lower in the normal range with every pound I lose.
Ignore your hubby's comments, or get a new one. I'm sorry to be blunt but you deserve positive support from your closest family members and it's downright insensitive of him to continue speaking that way. Let me at em I'll tell him myself lol.
Nail hit right on the head it's a LIFESTYLE CHANGE people. There isn't an end to this new mindset we have started to form. Only more knowledge, self acceptance, and bringing yourself closer to God. STAY IN TODAY, it's the only day you can do anything about.
YOU ARE WORTH IT - and I am happy to be a SparkFriend to share our journeys together. May God bless you today and every tomorrow.
OMG, I don't like feet either. I will take a pic when I see Onederland for the first time but that's it. And if someone elses feet touch me I can't even take it LOL. ;)
I am SO proud of you for getting those jeans on and looking FABULOUS in them. It is the best when you don't think you are going to be able to and you get pleasantly surprised. Congrats so much on that!
OMG, 9lbs til Twoterville! I am so excited for you, it's so close! :D 2649 days ago
