Stressful Weekend

My weekend was pretty good - but it was also very stressful. I spent about 6 hours Sat & Sunday cleaning & going through old things. I threw some stuff out that I knew I would never use again. It is tough deciding on what to keep and what to throw out.

I am trying to work through everything, but it isn't easy. I wish I could make everyone happy, but that isn't possible. I am trying to make myself happy, but when I know I am upsetting someone else, it makes me feel bad.

I signed up for my first yoga class for next Wednesday. I am nervous about starting, but I think it will help me. I hear good things about yoga being a stress reducer. I definitely could use some of that in my life right now! emoticon

Hopefully everyone has a lovely week. I can't believe it is the middle of August already. My 1 year Spark Anniversary is coming up so soon.

    You can do this - you are right that you can't make everyone happy nor can you make them change. The only thing you can do is change yourself. I was just watching Ashley's episode of Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss edition and she worked with a therapist about issues like this. All you have control over is you and right now on your journey you have to honor that.

    Yeah for yoga! Yes it is an amazing stress reducer! Those 60 minutes have epically changed my life! I hope you enjoy and I can't wait to read your post yoga blog!

    I just moved and had to go through the same thing--throwing things out and organizing. It is stressful, but think how wonderful it feels when you're done!

    I also suffer from a lot of stress, and yoga is a wonderful thing that helps so much. Meditating is also helpful to me--you can buy guided meditations on iTunes or find free ones on YouTube if you want to try it out. Message me if you need someone to talk to!
