Welcome to new members of SparkPeople! In this video I tell you some of my favorite things about SparkPeople. Apologies for my distractions. The video cut off before I was done. Sorry about that!

I think I was going to talk about Fitness. I mostly would recommend you start with just doing 10 minutes a day of movement to get started - a 10 minute walk, or dance to three songs, or do a SparkPeople strength training video. :) Do 10 minute sets of things until you're ready for more. The other big tip I have is to use the SparkPoints and keep going to that page to do the next thing on the list.. Get as many SparkPoints a day as you can. Oh, and the new thing they have on SP is the SparkCoach.. Which is free for all of us for a 2 week trial. It is geared toward new people in the program and is pretty motivational, I think.
