Living alone and loving it - goal to do a dance with my dumbbells for a marathon burn
So I've managed to get my food in gear. Hunger is not a problem, but I still do have a little nagging voice saying - more please, just a little bit more please.
I've answered that voice in a couple of ways. 1) eating BIG (see past blog) 2) everytime I have a break down urge, to go and support someone on spark, either by commenting on their blog, giving a goodie, or writing a spark email. In giving them support it reinforces my own mission. Also it has gotent me some of the highest spark numbers ever and a motivator award - tee hee temptation translated to positive feedback. 3) eating my meals over time. For example, when I ate my yogurt this morning I saved back about 2 oz, so mid morning I could have a little snack. Last nights dinner I set aside when half way done and finished it an hour later.
I'm on final count down for getting the screws out of my foot, but I have to be up front in the last few days i've been zapped to make a true effort on exercise. Oh I have excuses, but does my scale ever respond to - I'm worried about my father, I was scared that there were robbers in the neighborhood, it felt too hot to exercise, I feel really tire because of my methotrexate day....no that dang thing, I tell you, is deaf. It doesn't even get my ASL language.
But let's cut the scale some slack. Would you be very complimentary from that view? Bottom of stinky feet, an overhanging belly, - well not pretty. I'm going to have to learn to stand on my head to make it understand. However, the last time the scale notched down in worship to me was after a marathon day of cleaning. Now I can't say that was great for my foot - but it shows eating patterns alone with lazy exercise doesn't cut it.
So I'm putting on a movie and me and the 7 pound dumbbells are going to have a duke out session with an upper body punching. Take that scales!
