Good Morning All;
Choose your mood today! I will be busy today but I will be a happy camper because I am loved!
Today is most probably going to be a busy day for me. I have two of the grandbabies Brea (2) and Zoie(6 months) and we have to get up, go pick up their Uncle Bubby (aka my son Joshua), go to church, drop Joshua off after church, drop the babies off after church to home, then rush back to my house, wrap a Bridal Shower gift, scarf down lunch, and race off to the Bridal Shower.
I have to resist "cake" today! Some would say it is ok to take a small piece BUT I am on a very restrictive diet for my initial start to my diet. I know what so many of you are going to say, "It's not about a diet; it is about a lifestyle change" and I would totally agree with that but diet is shorter to type and I am lazy.
I have a pork roast in the crockpot to make pulled pork when I get home. I will not be eating any of it. It is all for my husband and guests. I have a list of foods that I am allowing myself and portion sizes for just a couple days then I will be able to eat more types of foods but my body will be adjusted to the smaller portion sizes.
I am NOT allowing myself ANY refined sugars! That is my ONLY total abstinence type thing that I am doing currently. This morning I weighed 184 and that is down 1 lb and I know most of you will say to that too, "You shouldn't weigh yourself everyday because weigh fluctuates so much with water weigh gain and loss" BUT again this is best for me. It is a total motivator for me.
Thanks for coming to read my blog. More tonight or tomorrow.
George

"I Will NOT Quit" Pledge
"Today, I promise I will not quit.
I pledge that no matter, how many ups and downs I pass through, I will continue on my journey.
I pledge to make a NEW START today, and forgive myself for my past, and to stop being so critical of myself.
I pledge to take control of myself, to stop making excuses, and stop blaming other people or situations.
I pledge to treat myself as I would my best friend, because that is who I am.
I pledge to stay in the race and to be a WINNER!
