I am making practice hoops for Mimulus summer camps – when daughter learned that there is going to be hooping on that camp she got really inspired and askt to borrrow the i-pad to google for new tricks she wanted to learn new tricks with the hoop... and I helped her find a tutorial on a smart trick "back flip wedgie"...
So I joined her in the garden hooping and decided to practice the vortex - and I could do it - both directions! Although I have to admit that it is hard on my head and ears, the hoop keeps knocking in to my head and I also am not good at keeping it miving once upon my arm. But it was progress and I also started to practice to step through the hoop from both dirctions and keep it going. These things has to be practised outside because I lose my grip now and then and the hoop goes flying around.
And because of the wet summer there is also a lot of mosquitos even in the sun, I am itching all over!
