My Weight Loss Has Slowed DOWN!

As soon as I got to 140 ville my weight loss has slowed down to a crawl. Seems I have been up and down 147-149 for at least two weeks!

I am not sure what to do!

I decided to clean out my cupboards of extra food. Giving some of the duplicate cans to Food Bank.
I threw away opened packages of graham crackers, saltines. They tend to get stale anyway in the summer.

I am hoping that by cleaning out my cupboards, maybe I will feel lighter too! (and less tempted I hope!)

    I like the ideas to jump start the last few pounds.
    I wonder if the body likes to stay a weight a while to adjust. I give myself a break for that, then look harder at my food tracking and find I was not tracking or not being honest about something.
    Have you looked into HIIT training? I have just done it a couple times, but it is a hoot, doesn't take much time, no equipment except a timer and really boosts the fat burn.
    Warm up, 20 sec as hard as you can do something and 10 seconds stopped. Do 8 times and cool down. You can do different things the 20 sec or the same thing. Do not do two days in a row.

    The body doesn't like letting go of those last 10-20 lbs. keep tracking and exercise and it will come off in time.

    A few weeks shouldn't make you worry too much....it is a short amount of time! You'll bust outta this up-down-up-down soon, just keep plugging away and making healthy choices!! You can do it! emoticon emoticon

    I hear you! I've been up and down around the same numbers for about a month.......until I had a 5 lb drop last week......!

    This has super-charged me in so many ways......

    I have learned so much on this journey, don't let it discourage you! Just keep on trucking!
