You want to know my biggest challenge, huh? Its ME!
My dogs leap and pant, their way of saying let's go for a walk. So we walk all the way to the yard and sit down, I sit down, they do their thing and then wonder when does the walk part start? Its too hot, too early, too sunny, too too.

How many times can I drive past the DQ and not stop for a blizzard? Answer: all of them. Down the road, stop at Mike's grocery and treat myself to chips or ice cream. Not every time, but often enough.
Are you getting the picture?

A daily struggle. You'd think just the moral struggle would take off a couple of pounds, wouldn't you?

Water aerobics three times a week may save me. I go with friends, so I can't cop out.

I do know this: I have earned every stinkin' ounce that I have taken off, and I am proud of it, and will continue. Did I say I am woman, hear me roar? Well, that's a fact!

I think it's brilliant that you don't go for the chips or ice cream every time.
Just try to further decrease the frequency a little bit at the time :)

I hear you roar! And you SHOULD be proud. Those ounces get more and more "at home" the older you get. You gotta give them the boot a little bit at a time - and a little bite at a time, too.

If I were FlyLady I'd give you an "I'm So Proud Of You" purple pen!

One thing that I know has kept me from having ice cream is the fact that most morning my breakfast is a fruit/yogurt smoothie. If I want it thicker I add ice cubes. It gives me the pleasure of a milk shake, it is healthy and it is my breakfast. I always use a banana for the sweetness. the yogurt is fat free, I use almond milk at 40 calories a cup and the second fruit can be a berry or a peach. I have even used dried dates but they don't break down very well. Try it you may like it and skip the blizzard.
