Sat 3/31/07 New Begining

I am starting over again,
I am just going to go for 5 pounds at a time for now and see how that goes.
I am going to track everything I eat and slow down, chew my food and be conscientious.
I am going to check out the emotional eater group and possibly join that one because that is my main problem, I get upset over things and then just eat whatever I want without tracking but of course that doesnt work.
The good thing is that since Ive been a sparkperson I am far more aware of the nutrients I need so I still think about getting my fruits, veges, calcium in and so on. That is a good thing.

    Going for goals of every five pounds helps lot of people and may very well help you..more gets very daunting....most here have emotional eating issues..they either eat or not eat..one of the two when upset...took me a long time to learn to put some lively music on and dance to it..kinda of like wearing myself out..so joining the emotional eating group might very well give you some tips...

    Biggest thing is to know that everyone here is different..sometimes it just takes a while..since this is not a diet but a lifetime healthy lifestyle...changes are more gradual for some than for others...as you pointed out..you are becoming more aware of the good things you are eating and that all by itself is a great start!
