Things go wrong sometimes but I did something right!

A loud bang woke me up this morning, after getting my bearings, i realized that my A/C unit was the culprit. It was 6:00 am, a little earlier than i usually get up so I decided to go to the gym. Got dressed, had a banana and got there at 6:45am, (I'm slow as molasses in the morning).

Did 30 minutes on the treadmill - an interval workout recommended by Jackie Warner in her book "This is Why You're Fat",( hate the title, love the book). Warm up, fast, faster, faster, slower, slower, fast...anyway worked up a good sweat.

Did some arm work with weights, bridges , crunches, pushups and was home by 8:00am

First thing that went wrong - Carpet wet in hallway to my bathroom, look into my walk-in closet - water on the floor (A/C unit). No damage done, had to take out all my shoes (a lot) so that when maintenance came they would do something. Made me about 30 min late for work.

15 minutes at the office - One of my non-compliant clients comes to the office upset that she is no longer being provided services and threatens me with all kinds of nonsense, including filing a grievance against me. Words are exchanged, i start to lose my cool but then i get someone from HR to be a witness to the rest of the conversation. More paperwork, lots of nonsense.

I've got a few other things bothering me so this did not help my disposition.

But, I did and am doing some things right:

1) Exercise this morning
2) Did not rush for candy or chocolate like i usually would (there's a 7-11 across the street)
3) Was so tempted to have a cigarette but i didn't and I won't.

I made some really good Beef Barley Mushroom Soup last night, i'll be having that for dinner - i need comfort food. But no bread in the house, so that's all.

I'm actually thinking about going back to the gym tonight, no big plans and it might really help. Might take Water Aerobics at 6pm.

Needed to vent and lay it all out. Thanks for reading...
