Didn't think I could do it . . . but I DID!

Like many people, our home and landscaping is a work in progress. We moved into our home ten years ago. One of the first things we did outside was to make raised beds for flower and vegetables. The stone beds in front for flowers, and the wooden boxes for veggies.
I got one stone bed done 10 years ago, and it is quite pretty. As I got older, busier and a little less capable, I thought that I would never get the second one done. My veggie boxes are overtaken with flowers and landscape plants. I really NEED to get the second stone bed done. Sheer frustration and determination led me to get a great start on that project yesterday!
I had to move and set all of the stones. That is no small feat for someone who is still in the obese category, and not in the best of fitness health. But . . . I DID IT . . . and amazingly, I can still move today! I am a little lame, but not anything like I expected I might be.
My landscape consultant tells me I need to dig 6" of sand out of the stones to make room for a good depth of loam. So I still have a lot to do, but now I know I can to the rest!
