I am on day 12 of the Jamie Eason LiveFit plan and doing great!
I really can't believe it's been 12 days since I started this program. The time is really flying by! I love the workouts and the fact that there is a daily plan set for me, which is keeping me accountable.
This week was a little challenging with Riley fracturing his elbow. On Sunday the little ginger monkey was trying to climb up and over our privacy fence and fell. OUCH! Poor guy! He has his hard cast on now and is feeling much better!! I stayed with him Monday and skipped my workout. Tuesday he was doing better so I did my ST at home then got back to the gym on Wednesday so as of yesterday I was all caught up. I was a little sore but less sore than when I started this program 12 days ago.
I also noticed that running seems to be a little easier for me (it has NEVER come easy to me). I went out and did 3 miles on Wednesday and felt great minus a side stitch. I got a one mile warm up then bam. It hit right before I started the sprint intervals but I kept going. Like my friend Kelly said "nobody ever died from a side stitch" lol!
I ran 2.5 miles this morning at a very comfortable pace of 11:12
I am down to 157 again which I am thrilled of! I also noticed that my clothes are starting to fit a tad different. My hubby said he noticed my tummy getting smaller! YAY! I really want to work on losing the weight in my thighs, hips and tummy. The rest I am working on toning. I am accepting this as a life style change in the fact that when the LiveFit plan is complete that I keep moving forward with my strength training.
OH!!! My hubby has lost 25lbs!! He is FINALLY looking at my healthy habits and taking them on. He cut out sodas and sweet tea. He is drinking crystal light and unsweetened tea. He is opting for more salads and lean protein and staying away from fried foods. He is down from a 42 to a 40 and his XL shirts are getting loose!! I am so proud of him!!
I found out yesterday that I have to move my office. I am both happy and bummed about it. My normal commute is 26 miles one way. My new office will be maybe 8 miles one way. I will also be closer to the kids schools and my horse. The down side is that I am moving to the second floor that has nobody else in it. I am on the second floor now but I have people to say hey to. I will be up stairs, all alone and my printer/copier/scanner/fax machine is down stairs so can you imagine how many times I will be going up and down stairs???? OMG!!!! Well, that COULD be a good thing, right? Added cardio and hill training?? hmmmm...
I guess we shall see.
OH! and today is my 10 year anniversary with the bank and they kick me out of my office? What a way to say thanks. lol!! I have to submit the work orders to have my lap top, docking station, phone lines and such moved so it won't be today but it will be before the end of the month.
