DIY Fit like a Dinosaur Challenge Entry Card

My Challenge Name: Fit like a dinosaur
My Starting Weight: 270.6
Four Other things I will be measuring during this challenge & their current stats:
1. Body Measurements
2. Fitting into my smaller jeans
3. 5K time
4. Push up max (upper body) and wall sit time (lower body)

If I am going to be 100% honest with myself, the reason I am doing this challenge is because:
I need to train for my second Warrior Dash in September. I’m also tired of my clothes not fitting as well as they did a few months ago.
I feel like the reason that I have not been progressing as well as I hoped I would be is because:
I’m not committed and I make excuses. I can’t get in the routine
This time, I commit to finishing my challenge because I know that:
I will be better, stronger, and happier for it. And I know if I don’t rock the Warrior Dash this year better than last year I’ll be very disappointed in myself.
I'm scared of:
Failing again. That I’ll never meet my goal. That I am unable to commit to anything.
I want to:
Finally feel strong, feel like I can do anything, feel worthwhile.
But I have faith in:
That I can do anything and have a strong desire to enjoy my body while it’s still young, God, who wants me to be healthy and happy and Christ who strengthens me in my efforts.

And THIS TIME, I will NOT quit, because THIS TIME: I will commit myself for only 6 weeks, knowing very well that I will get awesome results in this time and want more.

My top five non-health related motivations right now are:
1. Enjoying my body while it’s still young (and hasn’t had to make a baby yet).
2. Wearing a single digit size, which I’ve never worn in my whole adult life (always been a 14 or above)
3. Completing the Warrior Dash in Old Monroe, MO in under 50 minutes
4. Feeling sexy for my husband.
5. To run faster.
The best way to motivate me is to:
Remind me that it will be worth it. I can be fast, I can be strong, I can be healthy if I just try harder!
The best way I can motivate myself is to:
The feel of my clothes getting bigger. It doesn’t feel real until I feel it in my clothes.
My name is Sarah and I will complete C25K and try out the Paleo diet for these 6 weeks to see if it works for me. Six weeks of less carbs can’t hurt.

    The paleo diet has really worked for me. It's tough to adjust to at first, but after that it's second nature. Good luck! Let me know if you have any questions or need any tips :)
