Why I do this.

Yesterday I made a statement in my blog that caused some to comment on my motives for doing the SP thing. I said "he doesn't seem to care," which implied that I do this for him. So I got to thinking....who AM I doing this for? And the answer was very quick & easy.....ME! DH along with several other men in my life are regularly telling me how attractive I am. I don't know that I'd go that far, but I will say that I AM okay with what there is (as long as I don't have to look in a mirror).

The thing with me & SP is that it's more of a hobby than anything. It's something to fill my time. I don't bend over backward to go crazy nuts with it, but I do use it to keep it "real." I also like to help encourage others to become comfortable in the skin they're in. And I'll even say, I enjoy the conversation!!! I don't have alot of in person friends to chat with, so it's nice to have virtual ones to share stuff with.

I have to admit that SP (and the SP friends) does give me the motivation to not just sit around doing nothing. And to eat better, so it IS a force in my life. Something that I do for ME!!! Hey, of all the habits I could have......it sure isn't a bad one!!!!
