This past week was one of the best weeks of my life! Last Sunday, April 22, my fiance, Justin, and I got married on the beach in Cocoa Beach, Florida. It was an absolutely perfect day, although I spent a lot of time worrying about how it would turn out. The week before the wedding, the weather forecast in Florida was predicting an 80-100% chance of rain the whole weekend of my wedding. I freaked out the whole week, only to get to the weekend and have absolutely no rain.
My younger sister went with me when I went to get my hair done and took lots of photos for me. It was a ton of fun to be pampered for a little while.
After getting pampered, I went pack to my hotel room to get ready for the ceremony. Then it was just time to sit and wait.
Then it was time for the big ceremony! It was held at a beach park in Cocoa Beach. It was absolutely beautiful and the weather could not have been better! I couldn't stop smiling... I was marrying my best friend.
My whole family was there to help celebrate the big day.
After the ceremony, we headed to a local restaurant to celebrate, have cake, and toast our new marriage.
So the wedding was a huge success!
The day before the wedding, my family and I went to Kennedy Space Center. It was really neat.
We spent the following week in Orlando visiting tons of amusement parks.
Our first day we spend at Sea World with one of Justin's best friends and his wife. It was probably my favorite day! I loved seeing the dolphins and whales in the shows. Unfortunately, my camera died about 15 minutes after arriving at Sea World, so not a lot of pictures. But we did snap a couple with Justin's phone.
The next day was our beach bum day, so we spent the day back in Cocoa Beach enjoying the sunshine. Then headed to M&M World... I love M&Ms!
Day three was spend at Disney Animal Kingdom. We really enjoyed seeing all the animals and seeing the Disney characters. We finished up the long day seeing the Cirque de Soleil La Nouba show. It was absolutely amazing!
The next day was spent at Discovery Cove. It was so awesome! Justin and I got to swim with dolphins. It was quite an experience. The dolphins were so friendly and so smart.
Our final day in Florida was visiting Universal Orlando and Harry Potter... it was everything I was expecting and more! The downside was that, apparently I can't handle roller-coasters, even with motion sickness medicine. After Universal, Justin and I went to Senor Frogs for dinner then headed to see Blue Man Group... we even had front row seats! It was so entertaining!
The honeymoon was amazing and I loved every minute of it with my best friend. I couldn't have had a better week. I hope you enjoyed my little recap...
Oh yeah, I also got my hair cut the day I got back home... like 2 hours after getting off the plane. I'm still getting used to it, but I love it!
