First week

I made it through the first week. I feel like I did pretty good. I really watched what I ate, and only ate after 7 a couple of times. I did not exercise as much as I wanted to. I will work on that next week. I did not drink any cokes at all and I did not eat any junk food. I have not weighed yet, I have to get a scale. I am still really excited about the new healthy lifestyle. I was active, I just did not do traditional exercising. I have to discipline myself better that way.

    Thanks Earl and Wenni! I actually had a few beers...LOL! I figure I earned them for giving up cokes! I will check on the fat caliper, that is a great idea.

    I've doing this for a while. If I may suggest, keep missing the cokes and junk food. Enjoy a beer occassionally - its healthier - LOL

    The scale is ok but there are a lot of variables when it comes to weight. You are better off by investing in fat calipers first (about $20.00) - they are better at keeping track of fat loss.

    Cardio and strength training build muscle - muscle is denser than fat and weight alone may mislead you which can be discouraging. We are rooting for you. God Bless, Earl
